8 Months!

My little muchkin is getting so big.... yet another month has gone by, sigh. I love love love watching her grow and learn and explore but my heart aches a little bit too every time because my lil baby is growing up. OK enough sappiness from the mommy lol.
She has been quite the busy little girl these past few weeks, some of the new things she can do:
-CRAWLING!!!
-can pull herself to standing (which is awesome in her crib, not)
-claps hands
-says 'mom mom mom' 'baba'  and other random consonant sounds, no 'dada' yet though!
-is now in her big girl car seat, thank god bc the infant one was getting heavy!
some pretty big milestones and all in like a 2 week span, so fun and so exhausting (for me mostly:)

happy birthday daddy!

March 2nd was John's 32nd birthday (OUCH babe, ha who am I kidding, 3 months until I am 30) and we had a fun few nights. Celebrated at home on his actual bday and I took him out to dinner and some drinks with friends on saturday night then that sunday we went over to my mimi's for some sushi and cake with lynn, salar and the boys.
Gia had just started crawling the night before so she was getting to business with everyone watching...

first words, and CRAWLING!

its been a BUSY week for miss gia - started crawling on saturday night and now today is moving along quite nicely! then today she started saying mom, mama... and i got it on tape!!!

7 Months!!!

Ugh, really it's just going SO FAST! i can't believe my lil munch is already 7 months old... sigh.
BUT i must say it's been super fun, she's a blast to be around and def has this fun little personality, i love her more and more everyday!
here is what she's up to now...
-plays on her mat with all her toys
-goes from sitting to her belly
-scooches backwards and in circles, not crawling yet!
-eats great, she loves mostly everything we give her, except green veggies!
-loves to 'talk' starting some consonants, like buh, beh.
-she walks if you hold her hands, little steps
-loves standing, she can hold herself up on her leap frog table

being a stay at home mom has been pretty fun these past few months because a lot of my friends are having babies and are home, at least on maternity leave, so we have lots of friends to hang out with. mb and mc came over last week and though michael slept a lot we got some good pics of them at the end... these will be SO cute for your wedding, lol.

Snow!

It has been snowing like crazy here in NJ... we had 3 snow storms in like 10 days, it was cool the first time but now not so much, lol. Anyway, we finally took Gia outside to see the snow after the third storm...

then i was cleaning dishes at the sink and looked up to see these deer in the back of our house, it was so cool!

and here are some random pics i took when the sun was setting one day, it was so pretty :)

it's been freeeezing lately though, i am looking forward to the temps getting just a little bit warmer!

6 Months!

WOW WOW WOW... seriously where did this time go? I can't believe Gia is 6 months old. The past few weeks have been so awesome. I feel like she is learning something new everyday. Things she is doing now:
- laughing, smiling, giggling and yelling (lol)
- babbling a LOT (she says HEYYY, well kind of. super cute)
-she can stand up and lean on her leap frog table for a few seconds without me holding her.
-can sit up completely unassisted for long periods of time
-can pick everything and anything up, and will take whatever you are holding out of your hands!
-is eating solids and loving it! she loves squash, pears and oatmeal so far - hates bananas!
-she has 2 teeth on the bottom and i feel like another is coming anyday
-LOVES Sadie (our dog) if only sadie would pay her any attention, lol

I just love this age. I wish I could freeze time and keep her like this for a little. I love watching her explore and try new things everyday. It's hard to believe a few months ago she couldn't even hold her little head up, they grow so fast!

Her 6 month stats:
16 lbs. 11 oz. and 26.5 inches - basically 50th percentile for weight and 75th for height. She is obviously taking after John in the height department. Here are some pics of the cuteness, seriously I can't take the CHUB, LOVE IT!
