been so busy!

it's been a couple weeks, but lots has happened since the last time i updated!
we went to the doctor last tuesday and we had the first 'real' ultrasound, we saw the heartbeat, it was a tiny flicker on the screen, it was awesome! here is a picture of it:

we go back on dec. 15th for our next appointment and this time we should really be able to see something more than just a little blob!
i took a pic on week 6 but forgot on week 7, not like there's much change but this week i am starting to feel bigger. i haven't gained any actual weight but all my clothes are super tight on me, its kind of annoying!

5 weeks

So it's been a week since we found out, and it feels like the longest week ever! I went to the doctor on Wednesday, he did an ultrasound, here is the picture we got:

It was awesome, but obviously it was wayyyy to early to see anything in there! I go back on Tuesday for more bloodwork then again on the 24th for another ultrasound. I really hope this time we will be able to see something and we might even be able to hear the heartbeat - oh boy!
It's such a weird feeling to be pregnant so early on because it doesnt feel like it, no belly, no real symptoms yet and I can't even tell anyone! I have been stressing out about everything being ok but I am trying to just be positive and know that everything will be ok.
So I also decided that I wanted to take pics each week of my growing belly. Here is week 5:

I think anything that resembles a belly is bloat, if that's a symptom, I have been majorly bloated!!

That's all for now, I will be back next week with blood results and in 2 weeks with another ultrasound, woo hoo!!!

finally... baby scicutella is on its way!!!

We are completely in SHOCK!!! On saturday morning I woke up and decided to take a test, I had a few laying around and wanted to make sure I wasn't pregnant since I would be having a drink or 2 the rest of the weekend. WELLLLL I could have sworn I saw the FAINTEST line basically ever so I called John to help me and make sure I wasn't losing my mind... He saw it too but wasn't convinced and I guess even though a line is a line, neither was I. I went to the mall, went to CVS for more tests, and 3 hours later heres what I got:

SO I AM FREAKING PREGNANT!!!!!!

We are so thrilled, 7 months and here we are. Unoficially my due date is July 16th, 2010.  A summer baby :)
I am calling the doctor today to try to get an appt sooner than later. I am anxious to get in there!
We told John's mom on Saturday and I went to see my family yesterday and told them. Needless to say, everyone is super happy and excited!
I'm going to keep this blog as a log of my pregnancy and our future little babies early years :)
