Snow!

It has been snowing like crazy here in NJ... we had 3 snow storms in like 10 days, it was cool the first time but now not so much, lol. Anyway, we finally took Gia outside to see the snow after the third storm...

then i was cleaning dishes at the sink and looked up to see these deer in the back of our house, it was so cool!

and here are some random pics i took when the sun was setting one day, it was so pretty :)

it's been freeeezing lately though, i am looking forward to the temps getting just a little bit warmer!

6 Months!

WOW WOW WOW... seriously where did this time go? I can't believe Gia is 6 months old. The past few weeks have been so awesome. I feel like she is learning something new everyday. Things she is doing now:
- laughing, smiling, giggling and yelling (lol)
- babbling a LOT (she says HEYYY, well kind of. super cute)
-she can stand up and lean on her leap frog table for a few seconds without me holding her.
-can sit up completely unassisted for long periods of time
-can pick everything and anything up, and will take whatever you are holding out of your hands!
-is eating solids and loving it! she loves squash, pears and oatmeal so far - hates bananas!
-she has 2 teeth on the bottom and i feel like another is coming anyday
-LOVES Sadie (our dog) if only sadie would pay her any attention, lol

I just love this age. I wish I could freeze time and keep her like this for a little. I love watching her explore and try new things everyday. It's hard to believe a few months ago she couldn't even hold her little head up, they grow so fast!

Her 6 month stats:
16 lbs. 11 oz. and 26.5 inches - basically 50th percentile for weight and 75th for height. She is obviously taking after John in the height department. Here are some pics of the cuteness, seriously I can't take the CHUB, LOVE IT!

 giggles :)

hey look i have feet, lol
Happy 6 months cutie!!!

Time to EAT!

As in something other than breastmilk... oh boy! We started to give Gia solids last week and it was pretty funny. She had no idea what was going on at first and wanted to play with the bowl and spoon. Then she started to get the hang of it, though I still think most of it ended up on her bib. Here's some pics of the action :)
First bite...
 What is this?!?!
 No don't eat daddy's finger!
 YUM
 Here, I'll help
 More please!

 That's it!

 Hey Mom
Hereis a video towards the end, she was starting to get it!

Fruits and veggies soon to come!

Gia and Mya

We went to visit Liz and Ryan and Miss Mya last week, and there was just cuteness overload! I didn't think since they are over a year apart that they would really be interested in one another because Mya can play and walk and all that and Gia can just sit up lol. Well I was wrong! When Mya first woke up from her nap, I stood Gia up and the first thing she did was grab for Mya and gave her like a hug - AHHHH SO CUTE! Mya was so good with her, she is a sweetheart. Here are some pics for you to enjoy :)

So much fun. I can't wait for baby bea #2 and for when we have a full house of kids all running around.  Hopefully in the future we will live closer so we can all get together way more often!!!
Love you guys <3
