Gia's First Zoo Trip!

Last weekend we decided to head to the Turtleback Zoo in West Orange. It was cute! I thought it would be bigger but it was the perfect first time zoo for gia. we saw a lot of animals but i think the best was the monkeys! i could not believe how they were just flying from vine to vine lol. here is gia when we first got to the zoo...

10 Months!

Wow, we are into the double digits! And only 2 more months till she is 1 year old. Seriously this has been the fastest 10 months. I can't believe a year ago we were finishing up the nursery and I was getting larger by the day lol. I feel like in the last month this personality has just emerged from Gia. She has been doing SO many new things, like:
-walking with her walker (or a laundry basket or anything she can push to get around)
-standing on her own for about 10 seconds or so
-says 'hi' and waves
-talks to herself and makes gestures (cutest thing EVER)
-screams when she sees her favorite stuffed animals
-feeds herself food! (finally lol)
-feeds herself her bottle
-has SIX teeth and two more coming in any day now, eek!

She is just getting SO big and is so loveable. I love her personality. She loves people, is so outgoing and just is always smiling and having a blast. I am so blessed and I cannot imagine I lived so long without this light in my life. Gia, WE LOVE YOU!!!!!

swim class...

this post should have been a few months ago but i completely forgot! we took gia to swim lessons at the Y to get her used to the water. she didn't love them though, i am hoping this summer since she is older she will really love swimming. oh wait we get to go this weekend, as long as it doesn't freaking RAIN! i am so sick of this weather!

with my blogging! i have been slacking big time, just been so busy! a few weekends ago we went to see liz, mya and mr. and mrs. cipot... they hadn't met gia yet so i stopped by one day when i was in new bruns. mya was being hilarious, pushing gia around in her little car and screaming 'g g' hehe so cute!

then we went back to my parents and were hanging out on the deck :)

a couple weeks ago we had our other friend mya's 2nd bday party... it was at a farm and super cute! gia even went on a pony ride :) here are some pics from the day..

then we went to the park so gia could go on the swings, i only got one pic in before my camera died, but its a keeper lol... seriously I LOVE THIS FACE!!!
