I am in denial, that is for sure. How can it be 3 years ago that you came into this world and made our lives so filled with joy and love??? It is funny that every year I get all nostalgic and post a pregnant pic and reminisce of her first days. I always laughed when my parents did that but now I know why. It is basically the most important day of my life and I will never forget any of it!!!
SO here is that pic, I think I was a little over 38 weeks here and she was born at exactly 39 weeks!
I used the sign I made for her party and we set up all her gifts. This was the first year she had a real understanding of birthdays so I went all out!
We put balloons all over her room so when she woke up she saw them, she was so happy! Here she is my 3 year-old girl :)

We wanted to do something fun for the day so I planned a trip to the Land of Make Believe. I had been there 2 summers ago when Gia was only 1 and it seemed so fun for when she was older. We had a great time! I highly recommend it for this age group.

Gia, you amaze me every day. I cannot believe how much you have grown the past year but especially the past few months. You are a talking machine and are always asking so many questions. You love all girly things like princesses and dresses and tutus, but you also love getting dirty and playing with cars and playing sports so we always have so much fun. You love the beach and the water and are getting fearless in so many ways. You are such a great sister to Jack and you two are basically inseparable. We have the best time together as a family and although some days are crazy most make my heart sing because I am spending them with you Gia. WE LOVE YOU! Your smile brightens everyone's day. I cannot wait to see what more you become. Reach for the stars G, you can do anything you want in this life. I love you so much, whole world.
