We stayed at a place in Lancaster called Eden Resorts, it was so nice and had a pretty sweet pool!
It wasn't that warm out but the kids didn't seem to care!
Getting in the last licks of summer!
He kept running up to me and just yelling THIS IS SO FUN! ahhh
thank God for daddy bc I was NOT going in that freezing pool lol
out to dinner at this yummy BBQ place
then the fun started, before dinner Jack got out of the car and wouldn't walk, I thought he had diaper rash or something bothering him. But after dinner and when we got back to the hotel he STILL wouldn't walk at all. We took off his pants and I noticed his one leg was swollen it was so weird. He also had a slight fever so I took him to the urgent care. They said he would be ok, it was a virus. So we gave him Motrin and that night he was fine. He was walking and when we woke up he was still ok, so we decided to still go to Hershey Park.
Poor guy :(
All ready!
Time for some rides! When we got there it was chilly, but it got pretty hot!
Roller Coaster time!
We went on this like 4 times, it was a lot of fun!
This was the last ride, bc right before the swelling started again and I like an idiot didn't bring the motrin and he was miserable.
Bye Bye Hershey Park!
By the time we got back to the car it was bad and I was freaking out so I called the doctor and she said to take him to the ER. We didn't understand the joint swelling and by the time we got to the ER his fever was crazy high! It was so so scary. Luckily after the doctors saw him and monitored him they came to the conclusion that it was a viral infection and if he responded again to the motrin he would be ok. So we gave him more there fever went down and swelling too. He was fine from then on out, just so so strange!
Dance party in our room!
My fave shot of the most adorable little guy on the ferris wheel :)
The nest day we had planned to go to Dutch Wonderland but I was nervous Jack might get sick again so we went home. It was def not the weekend we planned for but he is ok and that's all that matters! I can't wait to go again this spring with them!
