this is such a typical morning for us, i love it :)

sometimes i look at gia and i can't even believe how much i love this little girl.
i always wanted to be a mom and i knew i would love my baby but i never ever realized just how MUCH. kinda makes me want to go back to my teenage years and slap me in the face when i think of the hell i gave my parents and how much i know they love me... but seriously gia, i love you so much, it hurts. i cannot believe you are going to be 9 months old in a week, out in the world just as long as you were in my belly. i was thinking the other day how i remember the teeny tiny gia but not the 4 month old gia. like i do, but i don't. i try so hard to keep all these mental pictures and memories because i don't want to forget ANYTHING. everyday i watch her grow and learn and am just so amazed. one day she can barely crawl, the next she is on the move and then the next she is standing! playing, laughing, smiling, ahhhh i just love every minute of it. when she crawls towards me and smiles or looks back at me when i am holding her just to make sure i am still there and even when she cries when i leave the room, i am thinking how amazing it is to have someone as special as her need me and want me and feel comforted by me.
it's like, i never thought I would be a stay at home mom, ever. i thought 'how boring' now i think how did i ever think that?!?! i spend almost every one of her wakng minutes with her and it is never enough! i feel so lucky and so blessed and the only thing i wish was that my mom could experience her. and i could ask my mom all the millions of questions i have...

Visit from Mya (and Liz and Ryan too :)

Last Saturday we got a visit from Miss Mya bean and we were so happy to see the Bea fam! Last time we saw them all together Gia was not on the move so this was new for her. She was crawling all over the place and having fun with Mya.

 We didn't get nearly as many cute pics as the photoshoot we had with them last time but here are a few of the cuter ones...

8 Months!

My little muchkin is getting so big.... yet another month has gone by, sigh. I love love love watching her grow and learn and explore but my heart aches a little bit too every time because my lil baby is growing up. OK enough sappiness from the mommy lol.
She has been quite the busy little girl these past few weeks, some of the new things she can do:
-CRAWLING!!!
-can pull herself to standing (which is awesome in her crib, not)
-claps hands
-says 'mom mom mom' 'baba'  and other random consonant sounds, no 'dada' yet though!
-is now in her big girl car seat, thank god bc the infant one was getting heavy!
some pretty big milestones and all in like a 2 week span, so fun and so exhausting (for me mostly:)

happy birthday daddy!

March 2nd was John's 32nd birthday (OUCH babe, ha who am I kidding, 3 months until I am 30) and we had a fun few nights. Celebrated at home on his actual bday and I took him out to dinner and some drinks with friends on saturday night then that sunday we went over to my mimi's for some sushi and cake with lynn, salar and the boys.
Gia had just started crawling the night before so she was getting to business with everyone watching...

its been a BUSY week for miss gia - started crawling on saturday night and now today is moving along quite nicely! then today she started saying mom, mama... and i got it on tape!!!
