Wasn't that an old school rap song? Lol, ANYWAY! We found this cute park only about a 5 minute drive for our house that is great for Gia's age and is all fenced in and perfect. I have been taking her a lot lately. We went a couple weekends ago and Daddy came too! I was playing with my camera and all the new stuff I learned in my class so I got a few good pics :)

I took some pics of Sadie too, let's face it she has been neglected in the picture taking department for awhile now lol. She was so tired and me and John call this her scmoopy face when she is sleepy and extra cuddly :)

Love my first baby, even though she drives me crazy! She is so great with Gia and Gia will not do anything without her around! I can't believe she is going to be 5 in January, time goes too fast!

18 weeks!

Wow, this pregnancy is definitely flying. The second time around is soooooo much different. I luckily am feeling great, minus being a little tired a lot of the time, but taking care of Gia means little rest unlike last time! I almost forget I am pregnant half the time. So I am almost halfway there, which is crazy but also so exciting. We find out 2 weeks from today the sex of the baby and I CAN'T WAIT! I am not sure, I sometimes think boy sometimes girl, I just want to KNOW!
Here is my baby bump, I think I popped a bit, a little bit earlier last time...

15 months!

Last week we had our 15 month appointment for Gia. John has been crazy with work so I took her alone, I was scared because she is usually a nut but she was so GOOD! She cried during shots but stopped when they were done and was making her eyes and flirting with the doc and her 2 students she had shadowing her that day.

Anyway! She is growing great, she is 21 lbs. and 10 oz. and 31 inches tall. She is 25-50% for weight and 75% for height. Totally normal for them to get skinny when they are moving around all the time, which Gia obviously is. Girl does not stop moving! Also, me and John were pretty skinny as kids so the doc said it's totally normal!

What she's been up to lately...
-Running around like a maniac!
-She plays with all her toys and mostly likes to stack things up in her hands, like carry as many objects as she can.
-She knows where her shoes go, where her hairbands go, where her belly button is and lots of other body parts too.
-She is getting better at putting shapes in the right spots but it's a crapshoot, some days she has no clue lol
-She loves playing her version of peek-a-boo where she hides her eyes and then you pretend you can't find her then she screams and there she is!
-She LOVES Sadie. she will not eat unless she is under her chair and shares all her food with her. She gives her hugs and kisses and it is awesome.
-She is SUPER attached to mama. OH man it is crazy. If I am in the house and not near her, forget it!
-She is kind of switching up her naps to 1 a day, but that all depends on when she wakes up.
-Dance maniac ... she loves to dance. she like moves up and down and pats her legs or she like runs in place, hilarious.

She is just a very fun and exuberant little girl. We love her so much and I wake up every day so excited to see what new and fun things she will learn (and teach us!).

apple picking!

Today we headed up to Warwick, NY to do some apple picking. It was a GORGEOUS day, warmer than it should be but not too hot and just so pretty out. I hadn't been apple picking in my adult life and didn't know what to really expect but it was cute, we just went down a few sections and got some apples because it was really hilly and Gia was in a stroller which isn't too easy to push, especially since she always wants OUT of it!
The lighting was fab and I was able to get some really great pics of Gia, my photography class is paying off :)

What a fun day! We got some apple pie, apple cider and apple cider donuts. YUM! I love the fall :)
