Easter Festivities!

Easter was a little later this year, which in a way is good because the weather should be nicer, but with this never ending winter and missing spring who knew the weather we would get lol. Luckily the weekend turned out to be pretty nice!
On Friday we dyed the eggs, Jack was into it this year and knows alllll of his colors so he was having a great time! We tried to do some with nail polish and it looked ok but omg the polish SMELLED and then was a mess to get off of everything soooo never again. We will stick with the Paas :)

All ready to go!
 This kid is nuts lol

 Dropping them in

Ok 2 of 3 saying cheese

He just wanted to keep dropping the eggs in all together. We had to slow him down.

Trying to get a pic since I am never in any pics eith the kids!

 Pretty eggs
Hard at work over here

On Saturday, my friend had told me about this cool farm near where we are moving and they have an egg hunt. So we headed there! My sister in law and her 3 kids came too and it was perfect weather! They had the cutest area to feed all the animals and there was a train to ride. Really cute stuff!

Feeding the animals, who knew they all liked carrots?

Eli's turn
Fake cheese
Jack was loving it

Our little cuties

Once Jack saw this train, he was obsessed. He rode in it once then had a FREAK OUT that he couldn't anymore. So we bought a bunch of tickets and put him on the train the whole time we waited for the egg hunt to start lol. Win/win for everyone!

LOL
My pretty girl waiting on line to get her face painted

Trying to get eggs....

The egg hunt itself was kind of a disaster because they didn't make people wait and by the time most people got there all the eggs were gone. Luckily Gia got about 5 and gave Jack one, and he could care less! SO it was still fun, no one was upset! It was nice to do some stuff for Easter this year that they could both enjoy :)

Fun at the park!

The week before Easter we hit up the park we always go to in Oakland. It is perfect size, fenced in and NO mulch lol! Jack loves to kick mulch and drive me crazy so I love the rubberized floor here :) When we got there they had a whole egg hunt set up, I was like great we didn't know and didn't sign up but then I asked someone and it was free to all! We hopped in line and the kids did their first egg hunt of the year! We were extra ghetto and used plastic bags since we had no baskets haha.
Tough guy over here
 SMILE!

 Serious cuteness

Hilarious, Jack had no clue what was going on!

 Time for a snack
Honestly, this guy melts my heart!!!
So much fun!

day at the zoo!

Since this winter essentially was awful I was dying for spring and to get outside. One Saturday it was nice weather so we hit up the Turtleback Zoo, we bought a membership too so we will be going often! I have never seen so many car there, we got there a little after it opened and i was freaked out it would be a zoo (literally lol) but it wasn't bad. We had a great time, until Jack went on the carousel and had a meltdown when it was over. Ha typical Jack... lucky you are cute dude ;)

Daddy and his girl
I have a picture like this from about 18 months ago, when Jack was so little. Made me sad... they are getting so big!
Loving the carousel

Happy Birthday Dad

We went to visit my dad for a couple of days for his burthday. We met him at dinner on Thursday night and stayed until Saturday. The kids had a great time, they always like to go to his house. We went to Carraba's on Thursday night, LOVE that place and wish there was one by me!!! Then Friday we went to go see Mom and then had ice cream cake, the best!

I only have one picture because I had issues with my phone and lost all of the ones from that weekend but it is a good one...
Hope your bday was great, so glad the kids could make it special. I know how much they make days better. I know your wish was for Mom to be better, I wish we could make it come true. Love you Dad <3 br="">
