Happy Memorial Day!

So summer is 'officially' here, woo hoo! This weekend had such great weather and I am finally tan! We spent the weekend at John's mom (Mimi) pool and we def got some relaxing in.  We had a great time with everyone and today we brought Sadie over to get some pool time. She is now pooped and that makes me a happy mama!
Lots of progress is going on getting ready for the baby, I washed a lot of clothes this week and we got our glider, which is amazing btw, and now everything is basically in place except the bedding and a few other small details. We will get the bedding this week and then hopefully by this weekend we will have the room all ready to go :)
Our deck was finished this week too and we got new flowerboxes for the railing and they look so pretty! Here are some pictures I took of the almost finished product (we need to stain it in a few weeks):

And here are my 33 week pics - EEK! I am SO huge. its kind of getting comical now... it will be interesting to see how much bigger I get!

making room for lots of STUFF~

wow, i mean i knew we would need to make some room for all the baby stuff but then once it got in my house i seriously started to freak out! our house is big enough but we needed to rearrange some of the storage things we have going on and make room in the kitchen. anyway,  i know this is all SO exciting but that's what we spent our weekend doing! we went to babies r us and buy buy baby to return some doubles from the shower, and we ordered our glider :) then sunday went to target and bought tons of organizational stuff and went to TOWN! we seriously needed another weekend after this weekend!

one fun thing on saturday morning we went back to the 3D ultrasound place and got some really good pics of baby girl, its crazy how cute she is already ;)

so freaking awesome to be able to see her... i really can't wait to meet her!
i went today for a checkup at the doctors and everything was good, heartbeat was strong at 143 bpm and she even kicked the doctor. lol she doesn't like when things are on my belly.
countdown is at 52 days - not too long now!
OH and the nursery is coming out just AMAZING. i am so proud of how we decorated it! i am just waiting for the freaking bedding and window treatments to arrive, the woman who is making them on etsy is starting to make me a lil mad bc i get no updates on when it should be arriving. i am going to email her tomorrow to find out wtf is going on. and we ordered the coolest mobile from etsy too, seriously i am so thrilled with how my vision came out, even better then i thought.
that's all for now... memorial day weekend is coming up and we'll be spending some time at my mother in laws pool, weather is supposed to be nice so i am looking forward to a relaxing weekend :)

lots of news!

I can't believe I haven't updated in 2 weeks, I have had so much going on with work, the end of the semester and of course getting ready for the baby!

We have gotten so much done these past couple weeks, painting is done (except for the closet which we need to do this week), the furniture was delivered on Tuesday and yesterday we had my shower and got so much stuff! Agh my head is spinning and I am starting to get a little anxious about everything. I know we still have plenty of time and I guess it's normal to feel this way but still, I am freaking out! Not to mention we have 2 other house projects, we are getting a new deck which they will start working on this week and we are redoing the paint and decor in our upstairs bathroom since we will be using it more now with the baby and all. So basically just a lot of things we want to get done before she is here and I am the type of person who can't relax till it's all done!
Now onto some pictures...  I will do them in order :) Here are my 30 week pics, I took them before we went out to dinner with John's mom (Mimi) for Mother's Day:

These are the outlet covers I ordered from etsy.com, I think they are SO freaking cute and really help to tie in the whole damask theme. That website has the most amazing stuff, I wouldn't have been able to pull off this rooms theme without it, that's for sure!

Hopefully by this weekend we will have the bedding and the rug and can start putting it all together!
Like I said yesterday was my baby shower and it was amazing. I remember this feeling after my wedding shower, it's just an amazing feeling to have all these people come to celebrate with you and get you so much stuff! I can't believe how much we got and me and John just feel very lucky and loved! These are just a few pics that I got from my camera since I obviously didn't get to take too many pictures... I know my sister in law did and my friend Dawn so I will have to get the pics from them. Also included is my 31 week pics, you can see the black vinyl stripe we did on the wall behind me in those pics.

Feels like summer...

These past few days have been HOT! and now I am learning what it will be like to be pregnant in june/july heat, UGH!!! not to complain but when there was no AC pumping a few days ago, I was one very uncomfortable lady. Now that we have the AC going I am ok, just couldn't cool off over the weekend!
Things have been pretty busy lately, I have been finishing up this semester for grad school and been working more than usual which is good, keeps me busy! Of course we are also in the process of finishing the babys room, we are done painting and should be getting the furniture in the next week or so... I can't wait! I have been ordering and buying so many cute accessories to go in the room, it is going to be awesome!
This past weekend John went to Atlantic City with his friends, he is such a good hubby and never goes out so I wanted him to go have some fun with his friends before baby gets here. I went and stayed with my parents for the night and I brought Sadie with me. We went for a ride down the shore and took her to the dog beach in Manasquan, it was so cool! She was in heaven. I didn't let her run around too much by herself because I was nervous without John there but we are def going to go again soon before July and this time on a weekday so it isn't as crowded. She loves swimming and the water, here are a few pics!

Last week I went to visit my friend Juli and her newborn daughter Quinn, such a CUTIE!!! I am so excited we are going to have little girls so close in age, they can be bff's! They also have a dog named Zibby, who is too adorable, so I had to take pics of him too :) It was so good to see you Juli and get some real talk on what is about to happen to me in the next couple months!!!

There are no belly pics this week, I will take them next week for sure. I can't believe I am going to be 30 weeks, WOW. The next month is going to be crazy town getting everything ready but then I hope to be able to relax a little during June and enjoy some me time (and me and John time) because this is it!!!
