wine tour fun

john and i don't get away too much alone... we went away once in november for our anniversary which was great but i had been dying to take him to the wineries on the north fork of long island. I went there in the fall with a few friends and it was a great time! we love our wine so when we were thinking of something to do for his birthday i thought this would be great. we went out early saturday morning and were picked up by the wine tour around 11:30. there were 10 people with us and we started at one called the old field which i had been to the time before too. it is super cute. small, all family run and on the water. from there we went to 3 more and had a blast! we even became friends with another young couple on the tour and headed to dinner with them, which was also amazing! the hotel we stayed at was great... overall it was a really nice time with eachother. It was just so short! the tour takes up the whole day so we didn't have much time to really relax. i think next time i would like to go out the afternoon before and actually relax and hang out a bit more!
