sesame place

on gia's actual birthday (july 9th) john and i took her to sesame place. mimi watched jack so i was really excited to spend the day just us 3.  i was so excited to take her. she LOVES all the sesame street characters and i couldn't wait to see her reaction when she saw them in real life.

WELL i was in for a treat... little miss thing was in the worst mood :( i don't know if it was the really long car ride that threw her off or the heat or what but she was just not having it! she did enjoy a few of the rides but was not comprehending the concept of waiting in line and all that. we did get to see abby cadabby and cookie monster oh and big bird. we missed the show we wanted to see because i thought it started a different time (oops) and we didn't do the water park bc we thought it would be too much... prob will next time! luckily the tickets we bought were a 2 day pass. i want to go back in september when it is a little cooler and maybe even stay at my dads the night before so we are closer. we'll see!

she did have a few smiles and i know when i asked her later she said she had fun so at least i got that out of her :)
